Loxley United Methodist Church and it's Family would like to thank Reverend James Batchelor and his wife, Lynne for the 23 years of service.
Over the past 23 years Reverend Jim has been our Leader in many ways. Spearheading fund raising events to help us get moving in the right direction for growth. With fund raising events in the early 2000's we were able to break ground for our Family Activity Center.
An early vision of Rev Jim’s and has come to be the heart of Loxley.
Once complete the Loxley Family Activity Center has been the focal point for many happy and no so happy occasions. From weddings to funerals and Girl Scout Cookies to Team Rubicon for hurricane disaster relief in 2020, our vision came to pass, WE ARE ABLE TO SERVE OUR COMMUNITY.
Our most recent Celebration was Reverend Jim Batchelor's Retirement Celebration!
What a bittersweet occasion it was!
Reverend Jim's leadership for the last 23 years has brought us many years of laughter and even some tears. Jim is very well respected in the Loxley Community and rightfully so! From his very first vision to his very last, of which is pictured below.
THERE ARE NO WORDS THAT CAN EXPRESS WHAT REVEREND JIM BATCHELOR HAS DONE FOR LOXLEY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH AND THE LOXLEY COMMUNITY.
We thank him from the bottom of our hearts for your years of dedication, love and faithful hands!
Stay tuned as we will soon be welcoming our new Pastor!
Reverend and Mrs. Joe McKinney and their children.
